Echoes of Change is an interactive installation combining sound, projection, and a web-based experience to amplify youth voices within a living soundscape of climate urgency. Created by Sandy Davis and Antoine Jaunard and commissioned by the Human Impact Institute, the work centers frontline perspectives, inviting visitors to engage with the climate crisis through active, embodied listening.

The project is hosted at New York’s Climate Imaginarium during New York Climate Week 2025. As visitors enter the space, their presence triggers the playback of a youth speaker’s voice alongside a marker on a projected world map indicating the speaker’s location, gradually forming a constellation of global urgency. The experience culminates in a recording booth where visitors contribute their own climate demands, extending the work into a growing archive that continues online through an interactive, map-based web and mobile platform.

Presented at the Climate Imaginarium and Pier 57, NYC
